Ascaron's sequel for the Diablo clone Sacred will be published in the US, Canada and Mexico by the local subsidiary of the German company cdv Software.
The upcoming RPG, slated for a September 2008 release, will join cdv USA's list of games produced in Europe, among which Pacific Storm Allies and and TARR Chronicles are the most famous.
Ascaron's creation will arrive for both the PC and Xbox 360 platforms, "in the second half of 2008, timed to meet consumer demand during the 2008 holiday season." Since the initial Sacred sold more than 1.8 million copies worldwide, the producers expect revenues in excess of 10 million € with Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.
Fans eagerly waiting for the game's debut can quench their thirst for fantasy-adventures with the Fan-site kit. Ascaron will provide gamers with a download link, provided that they send a mail to Sacred2-FSK@ascaron.com.
