Game News - World of Warcraft Paid Character Transfer Service Goes Live

When we reported last week that World of Warcraft players would "soon" be able to pay $25 for transferring their characters from one realm to another, I for one had no idea that Blizzard was actually going to activate this feature so soon. But they did: just a few days later, the World of Warcraft website announced that the Paid Character Transfer service had already gone live!

The initial launch of the service only allowed players to transfer their characters off of a very limited set of realms (Altar of Storms, Argent Dawn, Demon Soul, Illidan and Warsong), but by now several others were added to the list.
