The latest game in the Wild Arms series will hit the European shops on November 30th.

Publisher 505 Games has revealed that they will be releasing the fifth Wild Arms game in Europe. The exclusive PlayStation 2 game, from XSEED developers, will have a European release in November the 30th, ten years since the first Wild Arms game came out.

The game’s theme is the Wild West. Characters, weapons and environments will have a strong influence from Wild West films and music. Not only that but the HEX battle system will once again be on hand to resolve the many conflicts you'll encounter.

The action takes place on a planet called Filgaia, which was inhabited by an advanced culture thousands of years ago, and humans on the planet have abandoned these technologies for reasons unknown.

A hundred years ago, the Veruni civilization arrived and took control of the planet, and they forced humans to do menial jobs for a living. Now, in the present, Dean Stark and Rebecca Streisand must help a girl named Avril to regain her memories after they find her as a prisoner of a fallen golem (large mechanical devices built thousands of years ago). This results in a lot of traveling across the lands of Filgaia.
