A large number of fans were already jubilating about the release of Sega's latest fighter, and now, the wait has finally entered its final stage, as the company settled down the release date for February 8, 2007. The game will hit the shelves with a price tag of 8190 yen ($70), with 1050 yen more expensive than the two Virtua Fighter 4 games which sold for 7140 yen each on the PS2. An interesting aspect is that preorders of the game will come with Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary Reprint, which is in fact the media that originally came with Enterbrain's Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary book back in the days of 2003, and it's in fact a "remake" of the original Virtua Fighter game, endowed with a Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution "technological heart".
About the PS3 joystick mentioned above, it is planned to follow the game's release - that's on February 15 - and to bear the name of Virtua Stick High Grade. For about 7329 yen, which translates into $63, you could fully enjo a lever and buttons of arcade build quality and a reasonable connection via USB cable.
