Game News - UT III mods for PlayStation 3 are multiplying

The number of PS3 mods for Epic's Unreal Tournament 3 shooter is growing rapidly, with more than 60 available today at UT3mod.com.

When Epic Games decided to go with the PlayStation 3 for the first ever version of their popular "shoot first, ask questions later" title, the most important argument was the freedom PlayStation Network offers compared to Xbox Live.

Their strategy apparently paid off, since more than 60 mods specifically crafted for the PS3 are now available at UT3mod.com. Among them: 42 Deathmatch maps, 11 Capture-the-flag maps and 2 Warfare maps.

This is pretty good news for both PlayStation 3 owners and Epic, since the console version of Unreal Tournament 3 has only been launched for two months.
