Rockstar's upcoming ultraviolent title, Manhunt 2, has been re-rated by ESRB with an M-rating, down from the awful Adults Only. Even though we'll finally be able to play the Wii, PS2, and PSP title this Halloween, still no one knows exactly what was cut. But, if you don't mind being on the wrong side of the law you could play the full AO rated game by downloading it from several bittorrent sites.
There have been posted a few videos on YouTube that seem to come from this version of the game, and the release notes warn us that this may be a beta version, "so no crying if it ***** up on you." While this scene-release is being talked about in multiple places, the fansite, Project Manhunt has a warning: "...remember downloading this game is only going to slimming the already slim chance of Manhunt 3 ever happening," they tell fans. "Like Manhunt? Can’t wait for Manhunt 2? Want a Manhunt 3, then do yourself and the rest of us a favour and wait until the game is released."
Let’s just hope that a gamer will play through this leak (if it's real) and through the retail copy and let us know exactly what we're missing out on.
