Game News - The best Call of Duty 4 strategy finally discovered?

If you play Call of Duty 4 online, and especially if you are, or eneavour to be a hardcore warrior, you might be interested in finding whether there are any favorite weapons or battle strategies that experienced COD 4 players use. You can find some here, but are they the best? You be the judge.

According to SG, there are no “best weapons” and there are no “shameful weapons”, that is, weapons only worthy of noobs. A true COD 4 champion wannabe should use whatever he or she thinks appropriate to win the day. And if, after winning said day, some of your more ruffled ex-opponents call your attack methods “cheap”, you should consider it as a simple manifestation of pent-up anger and humiliation. Which you caused. Feels good, doesn’t it?

For instance, the gamer relating his experience on SG is by no means ashamed to say that he uses the M16, even if it’s frowned at for being “overpowered”. (In fact, he has no qualms about using it “with a Red Dot Sight and stopping power”.) The same thing goes for the Grenade Launcher, which, by the way, seems to have gained the nefarious nickname of “the Noob Tube”.

As for other, more detailed, choices of attack instruments, here’s what the guy says about them: “…I use a class with Overkill and two assault rifles with noob tubes that gives myself 4 grenades. P90 with Juggernaut? Check. I also use Martyrdom on that class. 3x Frag spam? You betcha. I’ve got that on two classes. Every now and then I also like to use a Light Machine Gun with Stopping Power and Deep Impact to just spray n’ pray to my heart’s content….”

But then, there’s also that controversy about camping: is camping useful or honorable in COD 4? One possible answer is that camping is just another tool for winning. If you have the skill and, especially, the patience to do it, knock yourself out. After all, there are two things you must absolutely try to do in Call of Duty 4 matches:
1. ALWAYS have fun.
2. NEVER lose. (well, you can at least try)

By the way, did you know that “noob” translates to “chobu” in Korean? (If you met gamers from South Korea in online battles you might already be familiar with it.)
