Acording to Ubisoft's final statements, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones was the game to put and end to an acclaimed trilogy. But, last week, rumors started to pencil out that the series would be making it to the Nintendo's Wii. The fact is not so improbable, as Ubisoft is one of Nintendo's great 3rd-party supporters.
Well, today the rumor became news, as Ubisoft's spokesman declared:
"I can confirm that a game based on the popular Prince of Persia franchise is one of the many titles Ubisoft has in development for Nuntendo's Wii... At this time we can not provide an official date for the game or any additional information about it."
The announce had a certain delay, because this project will not be a launching title afterall.
If we think it through, all of the prince's fightings and acrobatics could be an easy fit for the Wiimote, even if a controller-to-sword mapping is used, as in Red Steel.
