Good news for those of you who bumped into some rigorous examples of the buggy stealth-action gameplay. According to the official website, it appears that the producers are willing to offer a patch for the PC edition of Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which aside the fact that it'll change the version to 1.2., will also include a reasonable (but not generous) number of single-player and multiplayer fixes. Keep your fingers crossed before you read ahead, because maybe you're lucky enough to find your own encountered problems solved. While the official statement indicates "soon" as the only release date, some rumors assure us that it will be available tomorrow.
Here's the list of fixes included in the upcoming SCDA PC 1.02 patch:
Multiplayer:
- Disconnexion issues have been fixed at loading time and ingame;
- Invitations are shown in the main online menu and in the lobby;
- A few bugs in squad management have been fixed;
- Fixed a minor display bug while displaying Overall ranking score at the end of a game session;
- Number of particles has been diminished when the corresponding option is set to low;
- No longer display the 'invite' command when the player you want to invite is already in your game session.
Solo:
- A fix for the infamous “unlockables” bug;
- The gadgets the player unlocks by completing secondary objectives can be used in the next missions.
