Space Siege is finally out in the open. We’ve been getting some good vibes about Gas Powered Games’ newest creation and now we shall see how much of that goodness really exists in-game. The previous “sieges”, Dungeon Siege I and II, became living classics of the RPG genre, despite their rather mindless or at least boring approach to hack & slash.
But Space Siege should be more than a third Dungeon Siege with a sci-fi skin. It should bring new moral choices that will strongly affect the development of your character and the way you tackle the threat coming from the loathsome Kerak – that’s the alien race you’re fighting against, nolens volens.
Well, there’s nothing more to say on this subject, we’ll just have to get the game and test the developer’s promises. I’ve already made my mind up to choose the robotic side. That means I’ll go for the human side in Too Human... Nah, I’ll go robotic all the way, I’m more than human for my liking in real life already (although some acquaintances of mine might disagree).
Here’s the Amazon link if you want to buy the game online. It’s $49.99.
