Game News - Sony unleashes new PS3 bundle in the UK

In an attempt to boost sales for its console, Sony announced the introduction of a new bundle in the UK, called "Pack'N'Mix".

The bundle contains the new 40GB PlayStation 3 plus 2 games from a generous list of 12 new arrivals, including of course Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, but also Formula One Championship Edition, Folklore, Genji: Days of the Blade, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorm, Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, Resistance: Fall of Man, Ridge Racer 7, Lair, Warhawk (including a headset for online play) and SingStar (including microphones).

The whole package will cost £349.99 and will go on sale Friday, January 18. Considering that most of the games included in the aforementioned list have a price ranged between £39.99 and £49.99 (Uncharted being the most expensive) and that the 40GB console sold on its own costs £299.99, I'd say Sony's offer is quite a bargain. Start smashing those piggybanks.
