
The famous guitarist Saul Hudson, better known as Slash, has been announced to both provide an original track and to appear as a fighting character in “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock”. So the former Guns N’ Roses’s and present Velvet Revolver’s guitarist will be available for a challenge starting with this fall, when the game has been scheduled to release. Guns N’ Roses’ famous hit “Welcome to the Jungle” has also been announced to be included in the game’s soundtrack, while other important bands, such as Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Muse and others, will be heard on the game’s soundtrack. For example Smashing Pumpkins will contribute to the soundtrack with “Cherub Rock”, Weezer with “My Name Is Jonas” and Alice Cooper with “School’s Out”. Queens of the Stone Age has also been confirmed to be contributing to the third part of the “Guitar Hero” game. With the occasion of announcing Slash’s signing up for “Guitar Hero III”, Activision Inc.’s has also confirmed its game line-up for this year’s E3 Media & Business Summit, which features “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare”, “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock”, “Spider-Man: Friend of Foe” and others.
