
Usually cult movies bring with them cult soundtracks. So that means that games based on cult movies should likewise cool songs that gave flavor to the film's playlist. The 1983 Brian DePalma film Scarface gets to become a game, Sierra Entertainment is releasing details on the soundtrack.
Because a lot of games, like the Grand Theft Auto series got their sound track inspired from the Scarface movie, Sierra is taking a slightly different approach with the PlayStation 2, PC, and the Xbox release of Scarface: The World is Yours sound track. It will feature songs from the 1980s, including a few from the Scarface soundtrack, some from the current era, Giorgio Moroder's original film score and it will have various genres, including rock, pop, hip-hop, reggae, and more.
Through the Mix Tape feature available on the game, the gamers will also have the ability to customize their listening experiences, that meaning that they can create their own playlists.
