Vivendi Games announced today that Scarface will be a game for the PSP and will be released in early October. The game will be an entirely different game from its console counterparts.
Titled "Scarface: Power. Money. Respect", the game will combine turn-based strategy with real-time combat. The game will have two main modes, which are a story-driven single-player mode and a wireless multiplayer mode that supports up to four crime lords.
Now that Scarface will have its back on the PSP, it appears that another crime family from the entertainment business turned its back on the Xbox 360. A version of the game for the Xbox was confirmed in May 2005, but was taken out from the online retailer lists and now a Vivendi Games rep confirmed that the game will not be available for the Xbox 360.
Still, the good news is that "Scarface: The World is Yours" is scheduled for the PC release, PlayStation 2, and the Xbox in early October.
