GSC Games unveils new images from their highly-anticipated prequel Clear Sky, but following the established tradition of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl and Duke Nukem Forever we might just witness another delay.
Almost a month ago we were announcing that the Ukranians from GSC had signed a partnership with Valve Software, which would allow gamers to download the game directly from Steam servers when it launches.
Well, this is actually the problem: when it launches... After convincing Koch Media to become the publisher of Clear Sky, GSC went back to silent mode inside the Zone, further fueling rumors that the add-on will be delayed the skies there are not that clear in that area...
Our fellow French brothers from JeuxVideo.com advance the idea that the FPS will arrive (at best...) few weeks later than the previously anticipated Q1 interval, which... yes, means Q2 2008.
We'll try to contact GSC Games on this one, but until we have answer enjoy the newly-irradiated screenshots that we've hunted.
