About 4 years ago Red Alert fans received the news that Westwood Studios have begun working at a new project from the Red Alert universe. No one knew back that it was Red Alert 3.
But now we finally have the confirmation: Command&Conquer: Red Alert 3 is coming our way! Definitely. Without a doubt.
The Hungarians from PC Guru have obtained the info first (through unknown tortures and waterboarding techniques...), and posted it on their cover. PC Gamer "stole" the world exclusivity yesterday, and came with a much more revealing cover, which also previews their March 2008 main feature.
The fact is that, beyond this exclusivity-war going on, we know one thing for sure: capitalism is doomed! Red Alert 3 is coming to get you, capitalism, you hear me?...
What we don't know yet is who's the publisher for Westwood's highly-anticipated sequel. We'll just take a wild guess though: Electronic Arts published C&C: Generals back in 2003, it also published C&C: Tiberium Wars (for PC and Xbox 360) last year and currently works at the Kane's Wrath expansion-pack for C&C: TW and at the squad-based shooter Tiberium (for PC, XBox 360 and PS3)... Hm, I always knew there was something soviet about EA...
All in all, dear comrades, communism is here and has no intention to go away without a fight... Be it virtual or not...
