There are not a lot of places in which you're allowed to walk in a tunic and not have people stare at you like you've come from the past. One of the tunic-free places is the annual Dark Age of Camelot Roundtables, and the second is the Renaissance Faires.
Those who will be present at this year's Dark Age of Camelot Roundtables, will be treated with a speech by fantasy author R.A. Salvatore, the one responsable for penning the Icewind Dale, The Hunter's Blades, and The Dark Elf trilogies. The author will talk about his experiences as a writer, how he manages to get into the business, and his future projects concerning books and games.
The event will take place at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on September 29 and 30 and it marks the first public showing of the upcoming Dark Age of Camelot expansion Labyrinth of the Minotaur.
And the good news is that the gamers who register for the event before August 25 will receive a beta account for Labyrinth of the Minotaur, a free copy of the expansion, and an exclusive in-game item.
