
Ascaron and cdv Software USA have jointly announced that a playable demo of the highly-anticipated Sacred sequel will be available for the press at during this month's Games Developers' Conference in San Francisco.
Media representatives are asked to schedule a hands-on session with the PC and XBox 360-exclusive action-RPG by mail. Sacred 2 The Fallen Angel will be featured at cdv USA's booth no. 6605, situated inside the GDC North Hall of the Moscone Center.
Ascaron boasts with more than 2 million copies of Sacred sold worldwide since 2004, and hopes to obtain more than 10 million euros with Sacred 2 The Fallen Angel. The latter will have improved graphics, improved combat system, more realistic physics and online multiplayer. Although it has already been delayed twice before, both the publisher and the developer hope to launch the final version of the game this fall, with a public demo expected during the Leipzig Games Convention, in late August.
Ascaron is a European games developer that maintains development studios in Berlin, Gutersloh and Aachen (Germany), as well as an international department in Birmingham (UK).
