 NCsoft said that it planes on making new games for its Guild Wars series on a semiannual basis. This "announcement" was made before the release of the Guild Wars Factions earlier this year.

The company keeps its promise and today announced that the third episode in the massively multiplayer online role-playing saga Nightfall is scheduled to hit the stores worldwide on October 27.

The new release will give the gamers a new continent to play on, introduces two new playable professions, customizable heroes that follow players' instructions and level up, 20 new story missions, hundreds of quests, and more. Plus, the new Nightfall pack will include a "making of" DVD, an art book, a soundtrack CD, a poster-sized map of the new continent, and more.

The good news is that each expansion of the game can be played without the original so no need to have a collection.
