Game News - New PlayStation 3 packs announced for PAL areas

Sony confirmed that two new PlayStation 3 bundles will be added to its European arsenal, both of them arriving next month.

The first bundle, dubbed PlayStation 3 Movie Pack contains the massive black console with the (now) regular 40GB hard drive, the SIXAXIS controller, plus three Blu Ray movies: Casino Royale, Spiderman 3 and last year's blockbuster 300. This is probably a celebration of Sony's victory against Toshiba in the high-definition war. The Movie Pack will arrive on March 19.

The second pack is celebrating the launch of the highly-anticipated Grand Turismo 5 Prologue, so it'll land on stores' shelves on March 29, according to Game-class.com. The bundle contains the console, the SIXAXIS controller and a copy of the game.

Both bundles will retail for 399 Euros.

Sony has already launched similar packages in the past, the most recent being the "Pack'N'Mix" bundle, which lets UK gamers pick their favorite games.
