The development team behind Fable 2 has released the latest images from the game, which depict some a couple of cute little Hobbes in high definition.
You can find the renders here, and in case you wonder why they look so good, well...they're renders;). Let's just hope that the in-game graphics will be par with these images and with the expectations they set in gamers' minds.
Fable 2 will have a much bigger world, whose physics will be driven by the Irish engine Havok. Sam Van Tilburgh from Lionshead said of this huge environment: "think of all the Greatwood regions, add them together and you come close to the size of [CENSORwood], and mind you this is only one region! Since we are planning to allow players to leap off cliffs for example, we have to be extra cautious with the design, as every effort has to be made to make sure that players don't get stuck.
This is a fictional world, in which we get to do whatever we want. It's something that, during the days of the original Fable, was clear from the beginning and many gamers seemed to enjoy this new and fresh feeling. So we're sticking to our approach and this time we're making it bigger. And hopefully better!"
