Good news lie ahead for all Hitman fans out there, despite the fact that the whole deal it's such an early presence. According to AintItCool website, and regarding the highly anticipated movie version of Hitman, a famous third person action game series signed by Io Interactive and Eidos, that hopefully needs no introduction, most of the efforts involved in breaking the ice have just concluded their initial phase with a draft script, put togheter by the story writer Skip Woods, known for his previous work on Swordfish. The script, which by the way, took an awfully large amount of time to be done, was adoppted right away by 20th Century, and now it seems that everyone's hopes are put into a filming session set to begin no sooner that fall 2007. Now that's a bummer!
Furthemore, Vin Diesel has lost the lead character title in favor of Timothy Olyphant, out of yet undisclosed reasons. For the time being, no director was announced, but what's rather interesting is the name of Luc Besson joining the co-producers' team, along with Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter.
