Word of a new version of The Sims first spread back in November, when screenshots first appeared in the Japan media. But soon Electronic Arts confirmed the rumors that a new Sims game was being created for the Wii, and in February they said that the game will be available on DS also.
EA also said that the game will be more than just dressing up your digital sim-like-dolls. Players will shape a broken town into a flourishing community and will help pre-made Sims adjust to their life by starting new businesses or upgrading existing ones. The player will also be able to design his furniture and appliances from a number of building blocks, patterns, and creativity tools.
Now the game is close, after going a long way in designing it, and make it playable using the wii remote My Sims is just a few days away from its log-awaited launching date.
The title will be available on the 28th of September and it is rated by ESRB as being E for everyone, and will be sold for a price of $19.99.
