...ok, let’s quit this high-epic editorial style and lay it down bare (again, I must confess I am not privy to what “it” refers to – honest). This week-end, their will be an official unveiling of Star Trek Online. That is acceptable. But, little did we suspect that the special guest of this officious event will be none other than SPOCK! (We know this from CVG.) Yes, Spock, or Leonard Nimoy – the name he uses when on terrestrial business.

If you happen to be one of those cult members known as trekkies, you might be interested in knowing that this Nimoy-appearance will occur at the Gene Roddenberry Theater in Las Vegas Hilton. He’s going to introduce the very first gameplay sequences from the game. So then, go forth and be ousted by Klingon bodyguards, knowing that, at least, you tried to enter The Place Where The Nimoy Speaks.

Official and serious addendum: We’re not poking fun at trekkies, or at Mr. Nimoy, or at Star Trek Online. In fact, we’re poking fun at ourselves, because we love all these three. In a purely platonic sense, of course.
