Guitar Hero III will soon be richer in elite, long-expected, never-thought-they’d-come tracks. The soon will be this Friday, and the tracks will be Metallica. In fact, these great works of rocksmanship will be made available in shops and in the game, at the same time. Sweet. And marketingly correct.
But that’s not all; rockers will find out that it’s good to be at least marginally familiar with Guitar Hero III, because Metallica has put together two exclusive versions of “Suicide & Redemption”, especially for the game – coming with those extended guitar solos that rock-gamers yearn for. And, if you’re wondering what’s the use of adding these tracks to Guitar Hero III, know that they will also be compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour, which is to arrive in this world in October.
As for the price you’ll have to pay for this Metallica gig, it’s USD 17.99, or 17.80 EUR, or 1440 Microsft Points. In exchange for that, you’ll get this: "That Was Just Your Life", "The End of the Line", "Broken, Beat & Scared", "The Day That Never Comes", "All Nightmare Long", "Cyanide", "The Unforgiven III", "The Judas Kiss", "My Apocalypse".
