Rock Band 2 was let out on parole this week-end, at least on the Xbox 360 – but you might be already aware of that. What you may not know is that Harmonix promised that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Rock Band will get something called “Peace Sells... But Who's Buying” and which happens to be a Megadeth album.
This downloadable treasure trove contains seven tracks: “Wake Up Dead," "The Conjuring", "Devil's Island", "Good Mourning / Black Friday", "Bad Omen", "I Ain't Superstitious" and "My Last Words". (according to GameSpot). To download it, you’ll have to scrounge up 880 Microsoft points, or 160 Microsoft points per track (that’s 10.99 USD and 1.99 USD respectively). There are some complications for PS3 owners however, as they can’t go forward with Rock Band 2, so they won’t be able to taste “Peace Sells”, the title track.
Anyway, the almost-good news don’t end here. This week, Harmonix intends to release the Rock Band Tour four-pack, a nifty game-musical product with tracks such as: "One of Those Nights" by the Cab, "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional, "She's a Handsome Woman" by Panic! At the Disco, and "Natural Disaster" by Plain White T's.
