Game News - “Killzone 2” Release Announced by Sony at E3

Sony Inc. has announced the release of “Killzone 2” exclusively for their PlayStation 3 gaming console. The game is developed by Guerilla Games and is to hit the market in 2008. The announcement, as well as a demo test, has taken place on Tuesday evening, with the occasion of this year’s E3 Media & Business Summit. “Killzone 2” represents the sequel of the first-person shooter franchise and it will introduce its players into the same continual battle between the ISA and the Helghast army. However, the second part of the popular game has been presented by Sony as featuring advanced levels of AI, realistic physics and detailed environments and much more. The wide variety of special effects will include internal lens reflections, depth-based color grading and motion blur. “Killzone 2” has been created so that it could be played in the single player mode and in the online multiplayer mode. However, till the long expected game will finally be released, its trailer has already hit the web directly from the E3 Media & Business Summit. The fans’ expectations have been very high for “Killzone 2” and that is why Sony’s Guerilla Games developers have been struggling not to disappoint them. Although the trailer has aroused different reactions after its being released, Sony has really made an impact!
