It appears that the craved feature many gamers have begged for (in-game Cross Media Bar) is actually closer than ever, with a screenshot recently taken by a fan proving Sony is listening to fans' demands.
The screenshot, found here, shows that the PlayStation-brand owner is willing to give the crowds what they've requested, and although the announcement has been taken down from the official site since then, some inquisitive guys have managed to decipher it:
"Friends & Messaging: Talk to others during game play, say hello anytime you’re online, or have a video chat with an Eye camera, USB Camera, or headset."
Since the news spread rapidly, there were other inquisitive guys who went directly to the Australian PlayStation site and found the same announcement.
It's not hard to imagine what "talk to others during gameplay" means, the only problem is how exactly will this be implemented in the future. Cross Media Bar seems the optimal solutions, despite protests from other PS3 owners who consider it annoying.
The media speculates that we'll have an official announcement on this one during this year's Game Developers' Conference, so keep your fingers Cross-ed...
