   According to an official press release, the first part of GSC Game World's RTS/RPG trilogy, named Heroes of Annihilated Empires reached the gold status after a satisfactory completion of its development. Furthermore, Chapter I is already scheduled for release in UK on the 6th of October, 2006, under the watchful eye of GSC World Publishing and the Koch Media distributor.

   The innovative ideas behind the concept, are the main force for this blend between two game genres. According to the press release, "the players, aside for the combination of classic strategy elements and role-playing game, can also favour this or that genre to combat against other players or computer-controlled opponents. The premise is pretty clear: "Lead thousands-strong army in battle, or create one super hero able to do away with throngs of enemies alone."
