 There is the rumor that Rockstar Games released the official box art for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories last month and this is the second game from the blockbuster franchise to arrive on the PSP. The cover shows several characters from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, like the Cuban gangster Umberto Robina and badass biker Mitch Baker. This two will return in the new game. Like you already realized the game will be a prequel.

This week we have some very convincing-looking scans which reveal new details about Vice City Stories.The new game will set the action back in 1984, which is two years before the events of the PlayStation 2 classic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Players will play with Vic Vance, the lost brother of Vice City criminal Lance Vance.

The scans also show several missions. One of the missions includes a speedboat pursuit of an informer and a series of stunts performed on a jet ski. This is the first time the watercraft has appeared in any GTA game. Vance will also have access an arsenal of new weapons. Same scans show that, Rockstar is promising that the game will have graphics superior to the first PSP game, Liberty City Stories.

The bottom line is that the scans don't appear to be false, but Rockstar has neither confirmed nor denied their authenticity.
