BioWare is playing in the renouned game studios league, as a RPG specialized one, having for some time now, an important legacy: the list of previous produced and announced titles (both for PC and console), which names projects like Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and an Xbox 360 PRG called Mass Effect. A recent declaration revealed their decision to set up a new handheld game development group, led by project director Dan Tudge (former president and founder of Exile Interactive), and also planning to produce the first game for the Nintendo DS. Unfortunately, no mather how bad we want to know certain details ahead of the schedule, the company is yet to make any official statements regarding the identity of their first DS title.
Greg Zeschuk, president of BioWare, declared:
"As always, we are committed to creating the best story-driven games in the world, and the Nintendo DS offers us an exciting new platform to engage. The new project offers tremendous opportunities, and we're looking for talented and passionate developers to become part of that."
