Game News - Gamers who eventually die in real life should read this

You’re a gamer. You think you’re safe, reclining on your couch or whatever you use to support your physical form while playing. But you’re not immortal, even if you save your game regularly. You may die at any time, for real. But not now, later. Much later. But still, you will, and being a gamer and all, you have a holy responsibility: to perform at least several feats of gaming glory before you hit the big “game over” screen.

Gamedaily.com offers us no less than 25 of such gaming quests, although, knowing that gamers are more or less lazy, and also considering the 300-word limit for our Playful news, we’re just gonna have to select several of these “before you die” things:

1. Finish Portal.
We wholeheartedly agree on this one. One of the best games ever made. Besides, it’s short. And it’ll make you feel smart.
2. Dress like a game character and put yourself on public display.
Of course, in case you’re a girl you need only some casual, vaguely sportive clothes, you may look a lot like several heroines of adventure games.
3. Pick up girls using game quotes
You know, this might actually work. For instance, use the best line of Might and Magic VIII series; if you press “Y” in the game, your selected character will say something like this: “Yaaaaaaaarrrgh!!!!” – this is the “yell” command for NPCs to stand aside, but girls will admire your ruggedness and will ask you for their phone number.
4. Play a game for 24 hours
Well, you should make some breaks for bathroom quality time and recharging your hit points with high-protein food. Although you can also have someone feed you and even munch for you. Swallowing will be the trickiest part. Before doing this, try sleeping for 24 hours. (Mana + 200%)
5. Defeat a hardcore online high-level player in a humiliating manner
Because anyone who spends so much time and energy on one game only deserves a cold ego shower. Yourself included.
