GearBox Software's Aliens-inspired first person shooter finally gets its batch of screenshots, depicting (what else?!...) lots of nasty aliens and a hopeless squad of marines.
The game, officially announced a couple of weeks ago and due to debut on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the end of 2008, will take the hero (a United States Colonial marine) on an abandoned and alien-infested colony called Sulaco.
In order to fight the deadly and agile creatures the marines squad will make use of the already known arsenal of weapons depicted in the movies (pulse rifle plus flame thrower), but there will also be new guns, especially crafted for the claustrophobic, close-quarters combat.
Published by SEGA, GearBox Software's FPS promises revolutionary four-player co-op modes, in which every member of the squad has specific tasks to fulfill if the team wants to proceed to the next levels. More details about the multiplayer module and the soundtrack will be available in the following months, but for now we just have a batch of fresh, new screenshots to haunt you at night. Enjoy!
