Pardon me, I slight change of senses was “erroneously” inserted into the title. The studio responsible for MotorStorm is determined to get ahead of the pack by shooting its gaze across the horizon, to the next generation set of hardware. And that's an attitude advertised less than a month since PlayStation 3 has been released. According to a recent declaration written down among the pages of Develop Magazine, Evolution Studios rely on a prediction regarding the noticeable change reverberated in the entire structure of developing games, not sooner than the early days of 2011. Now that’s what I like to call future plans.
If case I’ve awaken your curiosity, let's see what Martin Kenwright, CEO, has to say about it:
"Right now, I'm already thinking about the PlayStation 4-era and beyond. That's the way we need to think now in this business. The development business model is going to change beyond all belief over the next few years. So what we're looking at is balancing long-term aims while consolidating our position."
It seems that this way of seeing things was not strangely pick up as a recent company estimate. Things go way back, into the mid-days of PS2 consoles.
"When we were making PS2 games we were thinking of PS3-type pecs as our bar for World Rally. Now we're on PS3 we're thinking about what aiming for the PS4 territory would allow us to achieve"
