   Aaron Lockard from Eternal Gaming sends word about a teasing update being posted on the Electronic Arts forums, with a tiny detail about their upcoming Need for Speed: Carbon arcade racer. As part of an interview with executive producer Larry LaPierre, which is supposed to be published next week, it's been revealed that the game will feature over eight race modes - with more to be announced at a later date:
Q. What will NFS Carbon have by way of race modes?
LL: Circuit, Sprint, Speedtrap, Canyon Duel, Canyon Race, Drift, Canyon Drift, Time Trial and a few others we can tell you about at a later date.    So the previously announced "Canyon" series of events will be comprised of (at least) three race types: Duel, Race and Drift. Also, according to Eternal Gaming, the police in NFS Carbon will be several times stronger than it was in Most Wanted, and the game will allow you to customize not only your ride, but your crew's rides as well.

   So, did any of the above bits of info give you high hopes for the game?... Though not. Come on, EA, you have got to do better than that! Although I seriously doubt that you can.
