We all know what Cartoon Network is. And probably enough from the gamers, wo maybe liked a specific cartoon, thought just once what a great game with that character could be.
The good news is that Cartoon Network announced that it is developing a massively multiplayer online game.
The project is still unnamed, but is scheduled for a spring 2008 release. At the moment is being developed by Grigon Entertainment, which is a Korean studio that has experience in the MMO market with titles such as Seal Online.
The multinational effort on the game is of course of no coincidence. It is known that Cartoon Network is targeting a global audience.
It is not sure what Cartoon Network characters will appear on the game. For now it has been confirmed that characters from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Ben 10, and Codename: Kids Next Door will make their gaming debut.
And another good news is that the game will be free to download and will feature microtransactions. It will also allow players to develop their characters and form virtual friendships in a "persistent and expanding world". No platforms were mentioned, at least not yet.
