The game comes directly from the producers of Killer 7, game in which you take control of a man that has 7 different personalities and each one manifests itself independently from one another, Suda51’s Games. Like Killer 7, Blood: One Night Kiss has the same graphics with the same familiar elements like dark walls, grim shadows and everlasting cloudy sky, this atmosphere being a perfect blend with the characters of the game, and the story that revolves around them.
The main plot of Blood: On Night Kiss is about the killer Saya and occasionally you get to see the world from the eyes of another character, Aoyoma. This game being a pure action game, the player will have to press a number of predefined matching buttons in order to obtain a kill or to trigger some game actions. Personally I don’t really like the whole idea of predefined moves and commands because it robes you of the freedom and non-linearity of the game, I would have liked that the player had the chance to trigger those events on his own accord. Maybe I’m asking too much.
Killer 7 placed itself on the seventh place in the Top 10 Most Violent games, and all we can do is hope that his brother, Blood: One Night Kiss will live up to the brand, because, why not, we all love violence in games, and I hope that this game will provide the necessary dosage of entertainment that was in short supply lately.
