See here how Microsoft advertised its red-ring-of-death console in the last couple of years, from the US to India and Japan (WARNING: banned commercials included!).

Since 2005, when the Xbox 360 was launched, Microsoft tried everything it could possibly (and legally) do to dethrone Sony from its dominant position in the console market and spared no money from its bottomless sack to achieve that goal. Whether Microsoft's strategy paid off or not, it's not up to us to decide (we're just pleased that they've upgraded their warranty period to three years...), but what we can judge is how creative they were in their attempt to lure us into buying their product.

We've gathered this collection of advertisements for the Xbox 360 that have been broadcast in different parts of the world in the last two years. We hope you enjoy them (although some of you might have seen these already), and we invite you tomorrow to watch what we've selected for the PlayStation 3 (This is living, Baby!).
