I recently got a tip from a friend in Sweden about the availability of Warhammer Age of Reckoning Collectors Edition on Swedish gaming site called Spelbutiken.com.
Actually "availability" is an exaggeration, because after hearing the translation from him it's pretty damn clear that the game is sold out. Apparently, the announcement (which you can find here) states that "the product stock is now empty" (Lagerstatus: PRodukten slut, kan ej beställas) and that the game cannot be ordered anymore ("kan ej beställas").
But what is really interesting is the spilling of details about what the Collectors' Edition package contains. Bundled with the original DVDs of the game (yes, it's two of them) there will be an exclusive art-book/atlas, an exclusive mousepad, an exclusive Warhammer miniature (don't know what that means though...), the game's manual and a Warhammer Age of Reckoning novel. As for the game-play part, players will first of all get the chance to lead online campaigns for free during the 30 days following the activation of their account.
Moreover, Collectors' Edition buyers will enjoy 12 exclusive quests (two for each army) and 12 exclusive quest rewards (one for each quest), plus 12 exclusive character heads. To cap it all, gamers with CE installed will get their own "special player title".
While the posting can be considered "accidental" on a relatively unknown gaming site, and cannot be deemed 100% reliable until official confirmation, it's still a good indication of what to expect when the game launches on June 10 (according to Amazon.com).
