Well, by now you already know that Gears of War 2 is no longer a rumor and that it's coming in November this year. What you don't know is that Epic's game will come with a limited edition too.

We're all pretty excited here that Gears of War 2 has been confirmed. We're actually so excited that we suddenly wanted to know more than Cliffy B wanted us to know. So we went searching for live Locusts online, and this is what we've come up with:
 
1. Marcus' new adventures on the Xbox 360 will debut sometimes between November 3 and November 30. At least this is the interval suggested by two of the world's biggest online retailers, Amazon.com and GameStop.com.

2. a limited, black-cover edition of the game will be available at launch, for $69.99. You can pre-order it here at GameStop and here at Amazon.

We still don't know whether the box-art featured on the aforementioned sites will be the one we'll see in November on stores' shelves, but hey, who buys a game for its cover?...
